On May 16, we celebrate one of our generation’s most beloved brunch beverages – the mimosa! Said to be invited in the 1920s, this bubbly cocktail brings the perfect citrus complement to a day spent under the warm Florida Keys sun. This year, we’re celebrating National Mimosa Day with our very own twist on the classic cocktail, available at Hawks Cay’s own Sixty-One Prime. Here’s how you can make it at home:
Hawks Cay Berry Bliss Mimosa
Ingredients
1 strawberry
1 blueberry
2 blackberries
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
1 oz pomegranate liquor
Method

Muddle strawberry, blackberry, and blueberries in a tin with lemon juice and lime juice

Strain into a separate container

To a champagne flute, add pomegranate liquor and simple syrup

Add berry mix and top with bubbles
