With the big kids back in school, the fall is a great time for families with babies and toddlers to come down for a visit. The weather is great, the water is calm and the pools are warm. This time of year, our youngest guests have the run of the place. Interactive Experiences
Families with small children can enjoy fun-in-the-sun experiences all around the resort. While most family-friendly resorts have a minimum age requirement of five for many activities, we work hard to create special experience for even our youngest guests. Children as young as two can get up close and personal with our resident bottlenose dolphins during Dolphin Connection’s dockside program. Take a stroll down to the marina to feed the fish. However, it’s our resort trolley, which cruises the entire property on a loop, that little kids really love. Who would have thought?!
Spacious Accommodations
Our thoughtfully laid-out villas are ideal for families with small children so everyone can have their own space to unwind during nap time. Equipped with full kitchens, parents can easily prepare snacks and meals or warm up milk. To really make the vacation easy, provisions are available at Hawks Cay Marketplace or have groceries delivered via Instacart. Or consider our Family Guest Room which features a King bed and bunk bed!
Onsite Dining Options
Although kitchens make it easy to keep everyone fed, take a break at one of our multiple dining options. All of our Florida Keys restaurants have great kids options and changes can always be accommodated for children with dietary restrictions or allergies. To make the lives of mom and dad really easy, visit Hawks Cay Marketplace. It’s a fast-casual market that offers snacks and quick meals made to order. It’s a lifesaver!
Toddler-Friendly Splash Zones
Ask any kids around what’s their favorite part of Hawks Cay and we guarantee you they will say the Pirate Ship Pool. It’s hands-down everyone's favorite slice of our island paradise. It’s the perfect place for little kids to splash around while parents sit back and relax from a nearby lounge chair. Of course, we see plenty of dads taking their turn on the slide too. That’s ok, we don’t blame you.
