The Dolphin Company took ownership over Dolphin Connection Sept of 2018! The Dolphin Company is recognized as the #1 Dolphin Family company in the world and the largest Park operator in Latin America. 31 Parks and Dolphin Habitats, located in 8 countries and 2 continents, bring the Experience of a Lifetime to more than 2 million visitors each year. Dolphin Connection is the 2nd owned USA facility within the Dolphin Company family. We promote environmental stewardship through unique and personal interactions with our incredible animals, who are the Nature’s Ambassadors. We contribute to the preservation of our planet and care for animals in the wild through research, education and our Rescue Centers. We create unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages while raising awareness towards the preservation and care for the environment.

Conservation

Dolphin Connection staff and animals have worked with a variety of world-renowned researchers to make groundbreaking discoveries about bottlenose dolphins on topics such as behavior, reproduction and the effects of pollution.

Partnerships

Dolphin Connection is a founding member of the Bottlenose Dolphin Breeding Consortium, bringing together groups of like-minded institutions to collectively manage a sustainable and genetically-sound population of bottlenose dolphins. Formed in 1999, this pioneering venture has produced more than 20 successful bottlenose dolphin calves to date. Our members include:

Accredited

Dolphin Connection is proud to be professionally accredited by the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums since 2003. The Alliance administers a stringent accreditation process for its members, with re-accreditations taking place every five years. Accredited members must uphold Alliance Standards and Guidelines to optimize the health and well-being of marine mammals under their care and to maximize both the educational and scientific value of their operation as a whole.
