Vacation Camp Adventure
Camp Hawk
Camp Hawk is where kids get to enjoy Hawks Cay with guests their own age, while also learning more about both the Florida Keys and the Everglades. Travel Leisure named Camp Hawk one of its “Best Hotel Kids’ Programs.” We’re not babysitting, we make sure our little guests have some big-time fun at our Florida Keys family resort.
It’s a place where you know they’re safe, supervised by trained counselors, and having an absolute blast.

- Availability: Camp Hawk is a seasonal program and is not offered year round.

Camp Hawk Activities
Dolphin Day, Monday morning
In a partnership with Dolphin Connection, campers will learn about the bottle nosed dolphin and the importance of ocean conservation. This session will also take them out of the classroom to the Dolphin Connection observation deck to learn more.
Something Fishy, Tuesday morning
Something smells fishy at camp today! After enjoying fun, interactive games about fish and other sea life in the Keys, campers head to the Marina to feed the tarpon and create their own fish tail print to take home.
Pirates vs. Mermaids, Wednesday morning
Campers get to be pirates and mermaids for the day. You'll search for hidden treasure, make pirate hats and mermaid tails! It will be a swashbuckling, Mer-mazing time!
Rockin' Reef
Available: Thursday mornings
This fun-filled day is both educational and entertaining. Campers will learn about the importance of the Coral Reefs to the Florida Keys and other areas of the world. We'll play shark tag, under the sea bingo, crab cage and we'll even make our own coral reefs! From learning the life cycle of Coral to exploring the various plants and animals that play an important role in keeping our Reefs alive. Campers will learn about the I-Care Team and their work restoring Florida's Reefs!
Additional Information
All children must be potty trained. Please send your child with a bathing suit, sunscreen (applied before the activity begins), a change of clothes, comfortable shoes, and a smile. Activities take place at Coral Cay Activities & Adventure, so please be on time!
Camp Hawk at Hawks Cay is open to guests of all abilities, with the safety of our campers being our top priority. Children must be able to stay with the group during outdoor adventures and follow directions from counselors. If your child has developmental concerns, communication differences, or would benefit from a 1:1 counselor, please provide us with 48 hours' notice so we can ensure appropriate staffing. We welcome any insights you have about your child and will do our best to accommodate special requests. Our goal is to ensure all campers have a safe, fun, and memorable experience!
